This video is pretty much a visualization of our last blog post, where we compared mortgages. Thanks for your patience, feel free to leave all your feed back and constructive criticism below!

How much is a $200,000 home?

So you are buying a $200,000 house, how much is it really going to cost? In our example we will look at two common mortgage loans and compare which is the better deal! You have to choose between a 30 year mortgage and a 15 year.

The 30-year mortgage has a fixed rate with a monthly payment of $1,074.
The 15-year mortgage has a fixed rate with a monthly payment of $1,505.

For the 30-year mortgage, the total cost of interest is $186,343.
For 15-year mortgage, the total cost of interest is $70,789.

Therefore, you would save $115,554 in interest cost by taking the 15-year mortgage!

So what would you do with $115,554?

"The Mortgage Bankers Association recently hiked it's perdition, and now believe 30-year fixed-rate mortgages will reach 5.5 percent by the end of 2011 and more than 6 percent in 2012."                         -Bankrate.com's 2011 Interest Forecast

If your planing on buying a house soon, now is the time!

Is anybody here going to be looking to rent or buy a home within the next two years?

Free Video Intros for your blog!

Videos are also a good way to promote your blog on forums and other websites.

I've seen people that don't necessarily vlog, but they post youtube videos of game trailers, song clips, etc.. on their blog. They would get more views if they posted it on their own channel with their intro in the front and their url in the description, its a great way to generate traffic!
If you want this video intro customized for you, just ask my friend Chris!
Here is his blog http://directorspace.blogspot.com/
Make sure you put the url of your blog in your comment.
Please only ask for one if you're going to use it, they are free though!

Hes helping me finish up my first Real Estate Video, so I owe him. Don't forget to follow his blog!

How to be your own Real Estate Agent

Real Estate Agents benefit more off of you than you off of them. Today, a real estate agent makes around a 6% commission, so selling a house for a few thousand dollars might not be worth the trouble for them, but of course you want as much money as you can get for your property. Open houses have been proven to be just a way for real estate agents to build more client relationships.

Over 50% of house hunters look on the Web, according to the National Association of Realtors, so its only obvious to go after this market.
www.ForSaleByOwner.com’s fees start at $89 per month for a listing on its own Web site with additional fees for third party listings.
www.mls.com listings cost $899.
ByOwner.com, meanwhile, charges an average $399 for its listing service.

Be sure to check out what else comes with the listings. Some web listing will provide you with yard signs, printable flyers and instructional material to help you prepare, price and negotiate the sale of your home.

Hello and welcome to my blog!
My name is Max, and last year I moved into a foreclosed house with 4 other roommates.
The mortgage is less expansive than if we had rented an apartment.
I've noticed that some of my high school friends are still having trouble moving out, so I made this blog for people like them. Me and 4 other people are able to pay for a house while attending college, so anyone should be able to find cheap homes.

More blogs to come, be sure to follow!
Thanks -Max
